You might not know me but I’ve been a licensed master barber and Business owner for 24 years.
I invested all my time and money into myself and my businesses.
I open my first business in 1998 I was 21 years old I had a beautiful baby girl with only a junior high education.
At the time I didn’t have a barber license a Business license no business experience no credit or the information I needed because it was as easy to access as it is today.
The only option I had was to step up the show and make it happen so with the little money I had, help from my father, and his carpentry skills I was able to open the place to be a barbershop.
Most weeks I worked 60 hours and serviced 50-100 clients it was hard work but one of the best parts was that I had the opportunity to engage with thousands of people on a personal level sharing a lot of information, and experiences about our accomplishments and stories about almost everything.
I was quickly reminded that a lot of people including myself weren’t able to live the lives we wanted or deserved not only because of the leak of money and resources, but mainly because of the leak of information, understanding, and applications!
My goal was then and still is now to be that information resource to help myself and others live the lives we greatly deserve.
